BLOOD ORANGE

BLOOD ORANGE is a moving image piece that explores performance, sculpture and video which are permeated with magic realism in their attempt to get closer to other worlds, other life forms and unexplored places. Set within a dream, the film probes a satire approach to mass media advertising through existential questioning as well as envisioning a child-like naivety, focusing on the transition into ‘womanhood’ in a post-human world. 

FILM BIO: While Character flicks through her television screen she notices an advertisement for a Love Potion. Questioning her current state of isolation and self-worth, a potion magically appears in front of her, she of course, in pure blunder takes a sip and falls into a deep and bitter slumber, as dreams of belonging and play riddle her mind further...
