PORKCHOP is a bilingual audiovisual exploration of the senses and somatics of the female body. Through the rhythmic interplay of Welsh and English, the film moves through fragmented translations of body parts—mouth, eyes, ears, tongue, nose, hand, hair, uterus—unfolding a visceral meditation on embodiment, sensitivity, and resistance.

Rooted in feminist thought, PORKCHOP draws on the spirit medium’s body—ecstatic, unpredictable, and in constant surrender—to challenge the capitalist-industrialist vision of what bodies are for. It is a body that feels too much, that resists discipline, that pulses with profound sensitivities beyond control. Asking: what does it mean to inhabit a body that defies utility? A body that is unruly, porous, and inscribed with histories of suppression and survival?
